Welcome to Accotink Academy
Thank you for your interest in Accotink Academy Preschool! We welcome you to learn more about our school and our program by looking through our website, calling our office to speak with one of our administrators, and by scheduling a virtual tour to view our facility.
Registration for the 2023-24 school year begins February 15th, 2023 and will be ongoing until the program fills.
To begin the process of registering for the upcoming school year, please submit a registration form by clicking the REGISTER NOW link and creating an account with Brightwheel. Once submitted, the office will review your application and be in touch with next steps.

The foundation for every child’s full development, (i.e. physical, social, emotional, creative and cognitive development), unfolds before us each day. Our program is based upon the premise that each child has his or her own developmental calendar. Our teachers, therefore, recognize the needs of each child and direct their teaching practices and classroom curriculum to make learning a rewarding experience for each individual student.

Accotink Academy Preschool is a privately owned, independent preschool designed to teach developmentally appropriate skills that are necessary for every child to succeed at a higher level of learning. We are a balanced environment that nurtures the whole child to create the confidence and positive self-image necessary to address and excel within each new experience and challange!
ABOUT ACCOTINK ACADEMY PRESCHOOL
Accotink Academy Preschool was established in 1964. Today, more than 50 years later, we continue to proudly serve children ages 2 and nine months, through age 6.
Our program is based upon the premise that each child has his/her own developmental calendar. Our teachers, therefore, recognize the needs of each child and direct their teaching practices to make learning a rewarding experience for every student.
We are a high-quality early childhood program, which provides a safe and nurturing environment while promoting the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of young children. At Accotink Academy Preschool you and your child will experience:

Children come to preschool with a love and trust that is normally shared only with the parent. That love and trust must be fostered and protected in any setting that becomes a substitute for the home. Our purpose at Accotink Academy is to do just that.

Is Accotink Academy Preschool open?
Accotink Academy Preschool opened in the fall of 2021 for the 2021-22 school year and has remained open due to enhanced cleaning and safety protocols. We are excited to announce registration for the 2022-2023 School year beginning on February 9th.
What do Accotink Academy Preschool classrooms look like amid COVID 19 Safety Protocols?
It is our intention to ensure that we are inviting you and your children to into a safe and healthy preschool environment now and in the fall. Our classrooms and our policies are designed to allow our students to comfortably engage with one another and with their teachers in a natural and nurturing way. A comprehensive COVID-19 mitigation plan, as well as updated policies & procedures are available to families, and will be updated as new information is presented through the start of the school year.

My child is not currently enrolled in Accotink Academy Preschool, but would like to register for classes during the 2022-2023 school year. How can I register?
Registration for the 2022-2023 school year for all new families will begin on February 9th, 2022 and will continue on a first-come, first-served basis until classes fill. Please use the registration link below for more information and to begin the registration process for your child.
